mii-tool and 1Gbit/s links

Note to myself: mii-tool can't operate with 1Gbit/s and more.

Use ethtool, provides more informtion and has no 100Mbit/s limit.

It's in Debian, so apt-get install ethtool

Xen 3.0.2 with Debian sarge - weird

If you get an error like this:

Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.

You musst install hotplug with apt-get on the dom0 system.
After this installation you can start a new domU session...

Very crazy :-/
